Maud, known as Queen of the English / Lady of the English, was born after August 5th, 1102 in London, Greater London, England.1   Queen of the English / Lady of the English's father was King Henry (King of England) I and her mother was Empress Maud (Empress of Almain).  Her maternal grandparents were King Malcolm (King of Scots / King of Cumbrians) III and Queen Margaret Wessex.  She was an only child.  She died on September 10th, 1167 in Rouen, Normandy.  She was buried in Bec Abbey, Normandy.2 2
