Phineas was born on December 30th, 1705.1 Phineas' father was Thomas Stevens Sr and his mother was Mary Hall. His paternal grandparents were Henry Stephens Sr and Elizabeth Gallup; his maternal grandparents were Stephen Hall and Ruth Davis. He had six brothers named Thomas, Uriah, Andrew, Benjamin, Samuel and Zebulon. He had a half-sibling of unknown gender named Jesse.General Notes
