Pierre was born on January 25th, 1693 in Beaupre, QC.1 Pierre's father was Francois Lacroix and his mother was Anne Gaignier (Gagne). His paternal grandparents are Francois Lacroix and Jeanne Huot; his maternal grandparents were Louis Gasnier (Gagne) and Marie Michel. He had a brother and four sisters, named Louis, Agathe, Isabelle, Marie and Marie. He was the second youngest of the six children.-
