Solomon Giddings 
Solomon was born about 1679.1 Solomon's father was John Giddings and his mother was Sara Alcock. His paternal grandparents were George Giddings and Jane Lawrence; his maternal grandparents are John Alcock and Elizabeth. He had five brothers and four sisters, named George, John, Job, Joshua, Thomas, Elizabeth, Jane, Sarah and Mary. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He died on June 26th, 1748 in Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts.1 General Notes
