Abigail was born about 1649 in Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts.1   Abigail's father was George Giddings and her mother was Jane Lawrence.  Her paternal grandparents were John Giddings and <Unknown>. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, John, James, Joseph, Samuel, Mary and Rebecca.  She died on November 14th, 1713.1
