Franciscus Smets 
Franciscus was born on February 3rd, 1865 in Lummen. Franciscus' father was Jean Smets and his mother was Maria Theresia Daniels. His paternal grandparents were Petrus Henricus (Hendrik) Gaethofs and Anna Catherina Smets; his maternal grandparents are Carolus Daniels and Maria Luts. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Ludovicus, Felix, Lambertus, Maria and Maria Josephina. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 2 on February 25th, 1867 in Lummen.-
