Philomena Engelen 
Philomena was born on September 22nd, 1850 in Paal.1 Philomena's father was Ludovicus Engelen and her mother was Regina Gaethofs. Her paternal grandparents were Petrus Engelen and Hélène Moons; her maternal grandparents were Petrus Franciscus Gaethofs and Catherina Bervoets. She had a brother and a sister, named Pieter Frans and Maria Clara. She was the second oldest of the three children.-
