Louisa Engelen

Louisa was born on December 11th, 1914 in Paal.¹ Louisa's father was Augustinus Engelen and her mother was Maria Matilia Blanca Gaethofs. Her paternal grandparents were Petrus Franciscus Engelen and Rosalie Vandezande; her maternal grandparents were Pieter Hendrik Gaethofs and Ludovica Vander Graesen. She had five brothers and a sister, named Eugenius, Alfonsus, Leonardus Isidorus, Ignatius Franciscus, Germaan and Maria Clara. She was the second youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 67 on July 27th, 1982 in Herk-de-Stad.¹
