Jean François Elens 
Jean François was born on June 16th, 1757 in Beringen and his baptism took place there on June 17th, 1757.1 Jean François' father was Egide François Elens and his mother was Marie Elisabeth Wouters. His paternal grandparents were Jean Nicolas Elens and Hélène Dorlinx. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Jean Nicolas, Egidius Franciscus Josephus, Marie Elisabeth, Maria Elisabeta Margareta, Marie-Agnès-Josèpha and Catherine Elisabeth Josepha . He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 46 on February 21st, 1804 in Beringen. The funeral took place on February 22nd, 1804 in Beringen.1 1 -
