Jacobus   was born on August 16th, 1746 in Walem.  Jacobus  's father is Van der Veken , Petrus and his mother is BROERS , Anna  .  His maternal grandfather was BROERS , Gaspar   and his maternal grandmother is Claes , Maria. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Petrus, Andreas, Joannes , Petrus , Petrus , Maria , Elisabeth , Elisabeth , Catharina   and Petronella  .  He is the youngest of the eleven children.
