Thomas  was born on December 27th, 1605 in Antwerp.1 2   His godfather was  Thomas Broers and his godmother was Elisabeth Broers.  Thomas 's father was Adriaen  BROERS  and his mother was Margriet  Hendrickx .  His paternal grandparents were Michael  Broers  and Martina De Poorter . He had six brothers and four sisters, named Michael , Jacobus, Joannes , Adrianus , Martinus , Gaspar , Elisabeth , Anna , Martina  and Anna .  He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 62 in April 1668 in Amsterdam.1
