Edith Marie was born in 1917.  Edith Marie's father was Farris Gilbert Gentry and her mother was Carrie Isaacs.  Her maternal grandparents were Irvin Isaacs and Cordelia Asbell.  She was the oldest of eight children.  She had three brothers and four sisters, named Larry Ross, William Alson, Herbert Lee, Vola Kathleen, Mary Delia, Hilda Frances and Beatrice Irene.  She died at the age of 79 in 1996.
