Douglas Alan was born on May 12th, 1967.  Douglas Alan's father was John Aaron Elliott and his mother was Kathryn Joanne Farmer.  His paternal grandparents were John Warren Elliott and Mary Beadott Carrigan; his maternal grandparents were Loyal Noel Farmer and Elnora Opal Jackson.  He is the youngest of five children.  He has four brothers named John Noel, Mark Duane, Steven Darryl and Brian Keith.  He has three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Michael Alphonso, Vincent Bruce, Frank Edward and Leticia.
