? was born on December 29th, 1856.  ?'s father was James Azbill and his mother was Mahala Jane Bicknell.  His paternal grandparents were William Asbell and Alah Cecille Van Winkle; his maternal grandparents were Thomas E. Bicknell III and Mary Nancy Asbill Reeder.  He was the nineth of eleven children.  He had two brothers and eight sisters, named Albin M., Wiley, Elizabeth Snowden, Nancy Elizabeth, Emily Ann, Icy Binda, Mary C., Matilda, Louetta and Cordelia T..
