Solomon was born in 1740.  Solomon's father was Pierce Asbill and his mother was Mary Solomon.  His paternal grandparents were Martin Asbille and Hannah Pierce.  He was the youngest of five children.  He had three brothers and a sister, named John, Joseph, (Asbald) James and Martha.  He died at the age of 29 in 1769.
