Lydia Asbill

Lydia was born in 1828. Lydia's father was Joseph Asbell and her mother was Mary Paulina or Polly Harp. Her paternal grandparents were William Asbell Sr. and Elizabeth Moore. She was the sixth of fifteen children. She had seven brothers and seven sisters, named John, James, William, Ross I., Levi, Ancil D., Wilson D., Elizabeth, Ann, Surrilda, Nancy, Louisa, Lucinda R. and Charlotte. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named William, David Warren, John, Joseph, Nancy and Sarah Ann. She died at the age of 36 in 1864.
