James Shelton Asbell

James Shelton was born in 1899. James Shelton's father was Moses A. Asbell and his mother was Leacy Ann Roberts. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Asbell and Rebecca Wilcox. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William Dudley, Lester Elijah, Nathan Orlando, Lewis Lavette, Lula Estil, Leila, Mattie and Martha Viola. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 79 in 1978.
