Rijkert was born on May 11th, 1820 in Ermelo.1  Rijkert's father was Hendrik Riksen Schipper and his mother was Maartje Aarts / Aartsen van Spiek.  His maternal grandparents were Aart Abrahamsen van Spiek and Grietje / Aaltje Jacobs. He had four brothers and a sister, named Aart, Aart, Rijkert, Abraham and Aart.  He was the third youngest of the six children.  He died at 1 months old on July 2nd, 1820 in Ermelo.1
