Aalbert was born on November 18th, 1810 in Zelhem. Aalbert's father was Harmen Boesveld and his mother was Berendiena Winkelhorst.  His paternal grandparents were Lammert Boesveld and Janna Janssen; his maternal grandparents were Dirk Winkelhorst and Wilmijna Kerkamp. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Jan Willem, Lammert, Hendrik, Jan, Aalbert, Dersken, Willemina and Johanna.  He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 7 on January 17th, 1818 in Ambt Doetinchem (Doetinchem).1
