Willem Hendrik was born on August 25th, 1778 in Haarlem and his baptism took place on August 28th, 1778.1  Willem Hendrik's father was Hendrik Roeland van Drunen and his mother was Aagje Agatha de Breuk.  His paternal grandparents were Georgius / Georgus / Georg van Drunen and Anna Schas; his maternal grandparents were Jan de Breuk (du Bruijk) and Marijtje / Marytje de Jongh (Jong). He had five brothers and four sisters, named Jan, Henricus / Hendricus, Jacob, Jacobus, Cornelis Martinus, Anna Maria, Anna Maria, Elizabeth and Elisabet.  He was the third youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 81 on December 10th, 1859 in Haarlem.2
