Jacob was born in 1748.  Jacob's father was Jan Pieterzn Zeeman and his mother was Neeltje Aris.  His paternal grandparents were Pieter Zeeman and Vrouw / Moeder; his maternal grandparents were Aris and Vrouw / Moeder. He had three brothers and a sister, named Aris, Evert, Aris and Guurtje.  He was the second youngest of the five children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Pieter and Trijntje.  He died on November 15th, 1748.
