Trijntje was born in 1851 in Hoorn.  Trijntje's father was Herman Pot and her mother was Guurtje Jongens. She had a brother and a sister, named Dirk and Elisabeth.  She was the second oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 26 on November 29th, 1877 in Hoorn.1
