Her paternal grandparents were Dirk Kuin and Vrouw / Moeder; her maternal grandparents were Klaas / Claas Klaasz Stam and Antje / Aatje Claas Ham (Hams?). She had three brothers and five sisters, named Cornelis, SImon, Pieter, Antje, Aafje, Dieuwertje, Aafje and Grietje. She was the third oldest of the nine children. She died before 1795.
