Trijntje was born about 1789 in Wognum.  Trijntje's father was Pieter Groot and her mother was Jantje Teunis Laan.  Her maternal grandfather was Teunis Laan. She had three brothers named Dirk, Teunis and Pieter.  She was the youngest of the four children.  She died on December 17th, 1856 in Wognum.
