Steijntje / Stijntje was born on October 19th, 1762 in Hoorn.  Steijntje / Stijntje's father was Joris / Jooris / Josua Boon and her mother was Marijtje Hendriks / Henderiks Blender / Blenders / Brender.  Her maternal grandfather was Hendrik Blender / Blenders / Brender. She had two brothers and a sister, named Jacob, Frederik "Jacob"  and Apolonia.  She was the second oldest of the four children.  She died at the age of 35 on August 2nd, 1798 in Hoogwoude.
