Willemina was born on July 30th, 1813 in Zelhem. Willemina's father was Harmen Boesveld and her mother was Berendiena Winkelhorst.  Her paternal grandparents were Lammert Boesveld and Janna Janssen; her maternal grandparents were Dirk Winkelhorst and Wilmijna Kerkamp. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Jan Willem, Lammert, Aalbert, Hendrik, Jan, Aalbert, Dersken and Johanna.  She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 56 on February 18th, 1870 in Oosseld (Doetinchem).1
