Lammert was born on July 2nd, 1809 in Zelhem.1  Lammert's father was Harmen Boesveld and his mother was Berendiena Winkelhorst.  His paternal grandparents were Lammert Boesveld and Janna Janssen; his maternal grandparents were Dirk Winkelhorst and Wilmijna Kerkamp. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Jan Willem, Aalbert, Hendrik, Jan, Aalbert, Dersken, Willemina and Johanna.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 14 on June 26th, 1824 in Zelhem (Bronckhorst).1
