Trijntje was born on April 20th, 1777.  Trijntje's father was Jan Abramsz Bart and her mother was Anna / Annaklaas Claas (Krul).  Her paternal grandparents were Abraham Allertsz and Sijbrig (Sijbrecht) Joosten (Joostens / Joostes). She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Jan, Jan, Dirk, Cornelis, Lijsbet, Jantje and Sijbrecht.
