William Clyde Johnson

William was born on September 8th, 1899 in North Carolina. William's father was Rufus Alonzo Johnson and his mother was Carrie Magdeline Corn (Johnson). His paternal grandparents were Lodwick Albert Johnson and Elmina F. Glazener (Johnson); his maternal grandfather is Benjamin (Dock) Franklin Corn and his maternal grandmother was Ellen Middleton (Corn). He had four brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Vitrulas, Frank, Anthony, Lenora, Jewell and Geneva. He died due to Typhoid fever at the age of 19 on May 22nd, 1919 in Liberty, SC. He was buried at the Flat Rock Baptist Chuch Cemetery.
