Emily Othenia Corn (Hamlin) 
Emily was born on December 9th, 1873 in North Carolina. Emily's father is Benjamin (Dock) Franklin Corn and her mother was Ellen Middleton (Corn). Her paternal grandfather was Noah Parr Corn and her paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Capps (Corn); her maternal grandparents are Kenson Middleton and N Beck (Middleton). She had four brothers and six sisters, named Adinoran, Emulous, Hilliard, Virgil, Mariam, Elsira, Tassrie, Minnie, Samantha and Carrie. She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 75 on December 8th, 1949. She was buried at the Flat Rock Baptist Chuch Cemetery.-
