Walter Herbert MARSHALL

Walter was born on May 21st, 1886 in Hackney, Adelaide, SA.¹   Walter's father was John Christopher Brock MARSHALL and his mother was Elizabeth HOWELL.  His paternal grandparents were James Christopher Brock MARSHALL and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were William Robert HOWELL and Mary WALKER. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Frederick, John, Alfred, Christopher, Gerorge, Charles, Frank, Catherine, Sarah and Adelaide.  He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 53 on July 29th, 1939 in Norwood, Adelaide, SA.  He was buried on July 31st, 1939 in West Terrace Cemetery, Adelaide, SA.^2 3
