Alfred Robert MARSHALL

Alfred was born on October 16th, 1877 in Adelaide, SA.¹   Alfred's father was John Christopher Brock MARSHALL and his mother was Elizabeth HOWELL.  His paternal grandparents were James Christopher Brock MARSHALL and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were William Robert HOWELL and Mary WALKER. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Frederick, John, Christopher, Gerorge, Walter, Charles, Frank, Catherine, Sarah and Adelaide.  He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.
