Frederick was born in 1876 in St Giles, Middlesex, England.1 Frederick's father was Henry Adolphus HIGGINS and his mother was Jessie Maria CHARLTON. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Frederick HIGGINS and Ann HARRISON; his maternal grandparents were William CHARLTON and Hannah HEWETT. He had three brothers named Henry, Henry and Charles. He was the second youngest of the four children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named James, John, David and Jessie.General Notes
