Ann was born on October 29th, 1827 and her christening took place on May 23rd, 1847 in Westminster, London, England.1  Ann's father was Thomas Frederick HIGGINS and her mother was Ann HARRISON. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Peter, Frederick, George, Henry, Horatio, Alicia and Julia.  She was the oldest of the eight known children.
