Robert was born in 1824.1   Robert's father was Robert EATHER and his mother was Mary LYNCH.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas EATHER and Elizabeth LEE. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, James, Abraham, William, John, Elizabeth, Cecilia, Mary, Charlotte, Rachel and Sarah.  He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 55 on January 8th, 1879.1
