Robert was born on April 29th, 1795.1   Robert's father was Thomas EATHER and his mother was Elizabeth LEE.  His paternal grandparents were Robert EATHER and Elizabeth WENNINGTON. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Charles, Thomas, John, James, Ann, Charlotte and Rachel.  He was the second oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 86 on May 7th, 1881.1
