Rachel was born on October 26th, 1807.1   Rachel's father was Thomas EATHER and her mother was Elizabeth LEE.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert EATHER and Elizabeth WENNINGTON. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Robert, Charles, Thomas, John, James, Ann and Charlotte.  She was the second youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 67 on August 3rd, 1875.1
