Francis' father was Edward Napoleon Bonaparte CATCHLOVE and his mother was Eliza Jane ROBERTS.  His paternal grandparents were Henry CATCHLOVE and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were William ROBERTS and Eliza RIPPER. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Henry, Charles, Ernest, Edward, Albert, Lionel, Cecil, Roy, Emily, Emma and Elsie.  He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 72 on March 2nd, 1964 in Campbeltown, SA.¹
