Mary Hele BALLANS

Mary was born on September 3rd, 1866 in Adelaide, SA.¹   Mary's father was Naimby BALLANS and her mother was Martha HELE. She had eight brothers and five sisters, named David, Frederick, Albert, Percival, Charles, Herbert, Alfred, Lionel, Edith, Rosa, Henrietta, Blanche and Gladys.  She was the oldest of the fourteen children.  She died at the age of 78 on April 24th, 1945 in Adelaide, SA.²
