Thomas was born on July 13th, 1860.¹

Thomas' father was Thomas George LOCKS and his mother was Suzannah Elizabeth DAWSON.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas William LOCKS and Ann (Annie?) RICE; his maternal grandparents were William DAWSON and Sarah HALES. He had six brothers and five sisters, named DARNEY, Walter, Alfred, Frank, Frederick Charles, Harold, Annie, Emily Mary, Fanny Elizabeth, Ada Elizabeth and Maud.  He was the oldest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 60 on November 11th, 1920.  He was buried on November 16th, 1920 in Woodgrange Cemetry.²
