Annie's father was Thomas George LOCKS and her mother was Suzannah Elizabeth DAWSON.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas William LOCKS and Ann (Annie?) RICE; her maternal grandparents were William DAWSON and Sarah HALES. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, DARNEY, Walter, Alfred, Frank, Frederick Charles, Harold, Emily Mary, Fanny Elizabeth, Ada Elizabeth and Maud.  She was the second oldest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 64 in 1926.
