Abraham was born on August 25th, 1868 in Madoc, Ontario, Canada.¹ Abraham's father was Robert Carman and his mother was Annabel Jane Wilks/Carman. His paternal grandparents were John Carman and Mary Jane Townsend/Carman. He had a brother and five sisters, named Thomas, Ida, Mary, Lil, Margaret and Pearl. He died due to a medical problem at the age of 53 on April 20th, 1922 in Thompsonville, MI. The funeral took place on April 22nd, 1922 in Carman home, Thompsonville, MI.
