William Austin

William was born on July 19th, 1818 in Loppington, Wem, Shropshire, England.¹ William's father was Amos Austin and his mother is Anne Wilkinson. His paternal grandfather was Amos Austin and his paternal grandmother is Martha Kynaston; his maternal grandparents are Samuel Wilkinson and Mary. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Charles, Arthur, Thomas, Robert, Joseph, Martha, Hannah and Sarah. He is the nineth oldest of the ten children.
