Ellen (Nellie) Jane was born on April 6th, 1896 in Wesley, Kossuth Co., Iowa. Ellen (Nellie) Jane's father was Thomas John TOBIN and her mother was Elizabeth COSGROVE. Her paternal grandparents were Michael TOBIN and Bridget MAY. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Leonard W, Clifford Alfred, Delia A. and Alice E. M.. She was the second youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 57 on March 3rd, 1954 in Owatonna, Minnesota.General Notes
