John Charles was born on November 19th, 1884 in Falls City, Richardson, Nebraska. John Charles' father was Michael MURPHY and his mother was Katherine QUINN. His paternal grandparents were Michael Daniel MURPHY and Ellen TOBIN. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William Ernest, Jeremiah, Elmer Edward, George Francis, Michael Edgar, Ellen Elizabeth, Mary Magdalene, Ethel L. and Katherine Irene. He died at the age of 80 on February 10th, 1965 in Edmond, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma. He was buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City, OK.-
