Margaret was born in 1882 in Kennystown, County Wicklow, Ireland. Margaret's father was Richard KENNY and her mother was Margaret MCDONNELL. Her paternal grandparents were Richard KENNY and Mary CAHILL; her maternal grandparents are John MCDONNALD and Margaret BYRNE. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Richard, John, Patrick, Edward, Bartholomew, Michael, Maria and Anne. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.-
