His maternal grandparents were Michael Daniel MURPHY and Ellen TOBIN. He had eight brothers and a sister, named William, Martin Elmer, Michael John, Jeremiah Edwin, Thomas M., Alfred, Frank, Lawrence A. and Helen. He died at the age of 81 on November 12th, 1958 in Van Nuys, CA.General Notes
