Cyrill was born on December 23rd, 1899 in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. Cyrill's father was Cyril JANDA and his mother was Pauline MARTINEK. His paternal grandparents were Thomas JANDA and Marianna SEDLACEK; his maternal grandfather is Joseph MARTINEK. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Thomas Cyril, Charles Clement, Antonia (Tony), Mary, Celia, Valentine, Clara E. and Agnes Pauline. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 48 on December 30th, 1947 in Omaha, Douglas, NE.General Notes
