Big Mike was born in 1861 in Dewitt, Clinto Co. Iowa. Big Mike's father was Patrick Barry CASEY and his mother was Mary Jane MURPHY. His maternal grandparents were Michael Daniel MURPHY and Ellen TOBIN. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Eugene, Patrick T., William J., Ed J., Lizzy, Maggie, Nellie and Julia. He died at the age of 67 on December 21st, 1928 in Oklahoma.General Notes
