Lea's father was João Correia de Brito Jr and her mother was Abigail de Barros Brito. Her maternal grandparents were Luiz de Souza Monteiro de Barros and Maria Leite de Abreu Couto. She has three brothers and three sisters, named João Luiz, Mário Luiz, Murilo, Stela, Maria de Lourdes and Vera.
They have a son named Renato.
